Maintaining the connection with your audience

How our clients are using video during Covid

The new normal for businesses has meant new ways of telling their stories. During Covid-19 many of our clients have turned to video as a way to connect with their audiences. Whether it’s an internal message to your team, a virtual trade show, or an awards gala, video remains the best way to convey your message. And, because you have the ability to deliver it through a variety of channels, it’s a flexible and adaptable way to get your message out.

Keeping contractors, owners and partners informed

For Prime Electric it was essential that they informed their clients and partners of their response plan for Covid-19. The best way to tell their story was through video. We conducted socially distanced shoots with key team members, and visited jobsites where the protocols were in place.

Compass Construction

2020 Virtual Annual Meeting

Many all-company meetings will be handled virtually for the time being. Compass wanted to ensure that the experience for everyone was as informative and fun as possible. We worked with their team to build a 40-minute annual meeting presentation filled with goals, metrics, awards and a bit of comedy.

The virtual Reign Awards

By the time the annual Reign Awards rolled around for 2020, everyone had become increasingly tired of Zoom meetings and the lack of in-person connection. Although we couldn’t do anything about the fact that the awards would need to go virtual, we could find a way to make it more memorable and enjoyable. Hansen Belyea filmed interviews with presenters remotely via Zoom, but chose to bring a bit of creativity in how the presentations came together.

“You seriously knocked it out of the park. I was FLOORED. Little did I realize you would take this not just to another level, but into another stratosphere!”

Our approach

Remaining flexible to changing needs

Being flexible and able to accommodate our clients’ needs is always a priority. In the time of Covid, this flexibility can come into play in different ways. For some clients, we’re filming interviews remotely. Others are handling this process and delivering the footage to us for editing. And in many cases we’re handling the entire process with socially-distanced shoots.

McLeod Construction

A strong presence for a virtual trade show

With a virtual trade show around the corner, McLeod Construction was looking for a way to tell their story in a new virtual environment. As a sponsor of the show, they were also able to showcase a 60-second video to all attendees during the event. Hansen Belyea created two videos from footage collected during a 2-day socially distanced shoot.

Introducing a new CEO

No one expected a pandemic to happen when Laird Norton Wealth Management was bringing a new CEO on board. They needed to introduce Kristen Bauer to both her new colleagues and clients, and also wanted to give her a platform to share her thoughts and aspirations about the new role.
